At the time of Jim's birth, Stanley and Phoebe lived in this house, presently 489 Middle Road. A year or so later, they moved up onto the Ridge Road, and Laurance and Julia moved into this house. When Jim was fourteen or so, after Julia and Stanley had died and Laurance married Phoebe, he moved back here.
