The 1860 census shows that the Peter Herrington was living in this house at that time. Peter's wife was Polly Dann, a sister of Alpheus. Their only child was Anson.

This entry confuses me because "AE Dann" is certainly Alpheus, although he was certainly living on his farm near Union Center. It seems strange that he would be listed as the resident of two different houses. In any case, it is logical for the Herrington family to be living there.
